Bluestem Trail

0.75-mile grassed natural habitat foot-path
Serving as a link between James Family Woods and Fugate Woods nature preserve, this trail offers an expansive perspective on grazing cattle, the native grassland/wildlife corridor enhancements and a soaring view to the Grand Prairie sky every season of the year. A bluebird house trail, supported by local Scouts and high school students fosters interest by a threatened species that favors the mixed edge-habitat.
